I have been so fortunate to be included in so many wonderful treasuries this month curated by some very talented women. The first treasury above "Roses are Red" was curated by Beth Keeton and she selected my photo of "Paris in the Rain". The second treasury called "Crimson Dreams" was curated by Gayle from "A Twist of Whimsy", and she chose my image "Orange Bougainvillea". I can't thank these women enough for all their support.

Treasury Abundance

It must be treasury abundance week for me. I found two of my images "Blue Umbrella" and "Winters Heart" in these lovely treasuries. That makes 5 treasuries in one week. I am so happy and proud to be listed with all these other wonderful artists and artisans. Thanks to Cheydrea and Novascarves for including me.

I am very pleased to announce that I have a new shop at Society 6. Please stop by and have a look around. I just opened it yesterday so I have a way to go getting it just right. The "Forget Me Nots" above are one of the images in the shop.

The weathers fine and the waters warm so come on down to Florida. These folks are sunning themselves on the gulf coast.

I'm adding some new florals to my Etsy shop later today and I thought I would give everybody a sneak preview. Wouldn't these be lovely enlarged over the living room couch, stylishly placed next to the dining room table or on the wall climbing the stairs. Fabulous for a girls room or guest bath. Please don't hesitate to contact me or comment. I'd love to hear from you.

Images and Fabric Design

©2013 Palm Trail Press All Rights Reserved

These lovely little flowers from the rock garden seem perfectly placed for a printed fabric. Maybe I should do just that. I've been meaning to print images on fabric. I could have it done professionally or I could try a DIY fabric transfer technique. We'll see what develops while I keep thinking and dreaming of Spring.

Thinking of Spring

©2013 Palm Trail Press All Rights Reserved

During these cold winter months one can't help thinking of spring. After all, its right around the corner. All that beauty about to spring forth again. Such a common place experience and yet so miraculous at the same time. Renewal and abundance is always available in our universe.

Winter Wonderland, Megeve France

©2012 Palm Trail Press All Rights Reserved

I thought I would add some wintry images in celebration of the Holiday Season. You can find them in my Etsy shop as well. These photos were taken in the Alps. Mostly near the village of Megeve which is a charming, picturesque ski resort in the French Alps. I was living in Geneva, Switzerland at the time and it was very easy to pop over to Megeve. Maybe 45 minutes away. The resort isn't very high so sometimes the snow isn't the best for skiing at Christmas time. The higher resorts are more reliable then. You can't beat the food and wine though. Everytime I would go there I brought home the most delicious local honey sold in a large tub. I have never tasted anything like it either before or since. If you like cheese, its a great place for that. If you go there try the local varieties like Reblochon or Tomme de Savoie. They won't disappoint! I will add more images of Megeve in the future. Click the blue Megeve link above to read more about this lovely place.

P.S. It would make a great spot for a destination wedding.

Portuguese Man O War Jellyfish

©2012 Palm Trail Press All Rights Reserved

Early one morning as the sun was rising I took a walk along the beach here in Florida. To my amazement I found lots and lots of these baby Portuguese Man o' War Jellyfish spread out along the shoreline. They are quite beautiful with the most unusual shape that you can see above. But don't be fooled, these little babies deliver a whallopping sting with their venom. Their tentacles lie under the surface of the water and can be surprisingly long. So watch out when swimming in warm tropical waters.
